Girl Wednesday Creative was born from a love of humor and individuality. Inspired by the wonderfully weird people who dare to be different, we set out to create a brand that celebrates uniqueness. Our mission is simple, to create witty wearables that make you smile.
The Story
This has been a dream for a long time. My family has been in the garment creation business since I was 7. My first job was helping my dad, stacking shirts in their screen printing shop. I’ve worked with screen printing, sublimation, transfers, CAD cut, you name it. I’m a relentlessly creative person, and always wanted to use these amazing tools to create something of my own.
I’ve been a creator my whole life. I’ve spent the last two decades as a photographer. But my 30s was a decade of transformation for me. As a life long friend of anxiety, I held myself back from so much. A diagnosis and beginning treatment at 37 found me trying new things, finding my identity, and reaching for my goals. This was one of them. With the support of my family, Girl Wednesday Creative was born.
Designing t-shirts is an adventure filled with laughter and imagination. We draw inspiration from everyday quirks and transform them into clever designs. Each shirt is crafted with care, ensuring that they capture the spirit of fun and whimsy.
The name Girl Wednesday comes from a play on our family name. My last name actually means Wednesday in Ukranian, so it’s always been a fun little play on that for me.
